I have been working to have a machine shop. I already have several machine tools but, obviously I needed the most flexible machine tool: the lathe. The cost of a good quality lathe is above USD 15,000. Due to my tight budget I got a good quality lathe, but it required a lot of work to get it up and running. It can be very didactic for someone who wants to do a similar job. It includes all the processes to rebuild the lathe parts. Iḿ pending to include some steps, but I hope to have everything documented.
